You're not screwed. I would start to think outside the box a little. Search this site for ideas about networking strategies, skills needed, etc.
My advice would be to get into contact with some smaller companies in your local region in whatever specific field you prefer. Their email addresses are almost always listed right on their site. There will likely be at least a few people at their office who went to your UG so you instantly have common ground.
They will have gone through similar struggles to you and will be helpful on the advice side. And, in the best case, you could get the chance to work at a place where you'll probably get a fair amount of responsibility, make some personal mentorship connections with the seniors there, and be able to talk knowledgeably about your chosen field. From there, you'll really be able to put together a road map.
Even if you're spinning your wheels and learning on the go at first, the most important thing you can do in this kind of search is to take the first step. Feel free to inbox me
Try and find an off-cycle internship for the fall. Some boutiques will offer remote internships that you can do from your computer (usually due dilligence type of work).
Maybe the most important thing will be to explain why you had no summer internship.
