Well, as I drifted from one interview to another I quickly realized even the interview process is rigged in this world haha. I've been declined opportunities on the following premise, quote " we had a referral from the CEO ::)" I've had experiences were they jumped gun and called me with someone's else name like they were expected to hire the individual. This entire corporate interview process is, to put it in a soft perspective, bull shit. None of it, is actually a legitimate way to weed out the bad from good as anyone that gets through the door is already qualified. Competition is fierce and it will get even worst as some of you young ones get through college. You need to start building your brand and show actions. What have you done? NOT, what you will do! The only TRUE THING that makes us different from our competitor is the distance we are willing to go. Good luck!

Anyways, It's bullshit forever and always. The FT offer isn't exactly a golden ticket to the promised land where all your cares melt away as you skip through a field of wild roses. It just means you have to deal with a whole new level of bullshit.
The game doesn't discriminate though - it is, was, and always will be play or get played. If you throw your hands up and call foul play every single time you think you see some perceived injustice which you can't support with any objective facts, you're not really cut out for this industry. No faster way to third rail yourself in banking than to arbitrarily/unfairly/unnecessarily claim people around you are knowingly dishonest. You;ll never get forgiven for that one.

Lol dude i had in total 7 superdays with bb's and mm's this year and ended up received only 1 offer. Got put on hold for 4 of them and I even had one bb schedule more phone interviews after my superday and i got dinged after my 13th interview with them. I had md's promise to help me out and put in a word to my interviewers and then ended up deciding that they thought it wouldn't be fair to influence the process. I also interviewed on non target superdays where the spots allocated were leftovers after target superday. I guess ive been unlucky, but lucky enough to get that one offer. Do i believe its rigged ? Maybe. But i realized that everything in the interview process is subjective. One guy will tell you that youre the best interview that they have ever had and the next wont like you because you're not a target. Nothing much to do but keep hustling man, im on it for full time. Keep at it man and use this as motivation!
