Answering an interview question about a skill that you do not have
Hey guys,
so I was curious as to how you guys would go about answering an interview question where the interviewer asks you if possess a certain skill and you do not have that skill
for example
Interviewer : " Do you have any financial modelling skills?"
If the interviewee does not possess this skill how would he go about answering it?
"No I do not know how to model but I believe it is something that I can learn and pick up very quickly if shown how to do it"?
something like that?
Thanks in advance for your help
Just be straight, "I don't have too much experience with modeling, as I haven't been exposed to it, but it is something I feel I could learn quickly." (So yeah I guess pretty much what you said.)
-Or you could just learn to do financial models.
