I am an analyst working in M&A at a no-name boutique on the West Coast. I have been reading up on restructuring and speaking with some restructuring consultants (please note that these guys aren't at RX investment banks) and I found the industry interesting. I have applied to some restructuring shops mainly HL and Alvarez and Marsal but have had no luck.
Has anyone from my position made a similar move?
