Anyone love valuation?

Just curious/bored.

I’m currently working at a valuation shop in the northwestern US. Plan on pivoting to IB soon (around the 1-year mark since I started working in val)

My question: Does anyone work in valuations and actually like it? I find it so boring and can’t imagine staying here forever.

Basically all of my colleagues and I went to non-target schools and work in valuation as a way to gain some relevant experience for IB or other cool stuff.
