Applying for Summer Internships as a sophomore - bad idea if rejected?
Basically, I'm a transfer student, accepted to a target school from a non-target school and I haven't been at the target yet to add it to my resume, so when I'm looking for an internship for this summer, I'd be applying as a non-target as opposed to next summer where I can add the target school to my resume. I'm worried that if I apply to areas now, I might (know) I will get dinged at a lot of areas for being at this school, and don't know if then my chances at these firms are "wasted" since I already applied once using the non-target as opposed to the target. Thank you
Put the target school on ur resume too and somehow note that you intend to enroll and graduate from there
EDIT: I don't understand how it would be wasted... next summer is a completely separate deal.....?
yeah but if I got rejected from a firm this summer, wouldn't that be automatic ding when applying next summer if they realize I applied before and got rejected?
i'm wondering this too. i went to superday for a firm i was super interested in and then didn't get the job, does this destroy my chances for next summer? I'm also a sophomore
