Applying in person at a wirehouse?
I have an account with Fidelity and when discussing my background with one of the employees she was a bit pushy about suggesting that I should apply.
I thought about it for a bit and decided I should consider it.
I am thinking of applying in person at local branches where they all have posted openings locally. I'm looking at:
Charles Schwab
TD Ameritrade
Raymond James
UBS
All positions would support me in getting my Series 7 & 63
About me:
My undergrad - International Finance (top 50)
Masters- Financial Engineering (fulbright scholar)
Worked in PE for 1 year abroad at a boutique in Manila
Worked at a start-up for 1 year in Hong Kong
Now back in the US (Currently in San Diego)
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
You have an MFE and you want to become a stockbroker? Does not compute.
Yeah, It has taken me some time to truly understand what and where I want to be.
