ARE FALL INTERNSHIPS WORTH IT?

Hello,

I recently started applying for fall off-cycle internships for all banks, any companies actually, as long as the internships had something to do with finance. I was in a bad spot because my resume is thin and I don't have a large network.

It all really changed because I got an internship offer at a PE firm in Chicago, just a couple of days ago. I got lucky because I have a good relationship with someone in the firm.

Now that I got a great internship opportunity, is it still worth trying to get fall internships? Would I benefit more from focusing on being more involved with clubs and my classes at school?
