What year are you? Do you have anything in common with the people you’re emailing?

I’d also try and expand your search and try to focus on anyone and everyone you have a relationship who has good connections. If there are any connections to anyone who have an MBA from a top school and don’t work in banking but in Corp finance or something, reach out them to learn more about their career path. You need someone to refer you to all their friends. I have a 100% success rate at getting a reply when someone makes me a introduction. My best resource was my sisters friends mom who was also an alumni of my school. I want to point out this woman is a stay at home mom that I met picking up my 8 year old sister from a birthday party. I told her I was studying finance and interested in exploring different finance career paths and she put me in contact with all her MBA friends who are now ceos, cfos, and MDs and each of these people introduced me to 3 other people.
