Are salaries higher in Manhattan versus the rest of New York City? (The same exact job)
I was just wondering if jobs in Manhattan for a specific company, let's say an analyst, pays more in Manhattan than the same exact job in the other boroughs( like the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, or Staten Island) or are they almost the same? Keep in mind, I am asking about 2 exactly identical jobs with the only difference being the location.
I don't think such jobs exist on the finance side (ie. most bank jobs would be in Manhattan or Jersey from my understanding) but I presume that salaries across that region would be the same.
