Are you prepared to relocate outside US?

Are you willing to relocate outside the US for a job at the moment? If it meant landing the right job could you see yourself as an Asian analyst? Perhaps Mumbai? Would you take an offer from Goldman to work on their Moscow commodities desk? Just curious. I have so far worked in Asia, Europe and currently the US. Great times had in all locations although home is where the heart is.

So where would you be willing to work for "that" job. And where is strictly off limits?

SACOnly selected places. No London, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai for me. Amsterdam, Barcelona, Singapore, Bombay - Yes.

Interesting combo.... putting Barcelona in and London out? What is your criteria? I'm curious.

I'm willing to relocate if it is the right job/division for me + makes me learn a lot. I'd love to work in Singapore(FX is huge there) and London(here, too).

Very true, I was actually going to mention this. I'm doing FX Options, so you are generally limited to NY, London & Singapore (sometimes elsewhere in Asia) unless you are doing a very specific region's currencies.

Its just lifestyle reasons for me.

After I get my MBA, it is my intent to look for international PE opportunities almost exclusively. In fact, I've been compiling a list of companies since I started my analyst years. For me, I'd take a job in any one of the following:

(UK) London Spain France Italy Germany The Netherlands Denmark Norway Sweden Poland Argentina Chile
