Asking for Return Summer Internship
I'm wondering if anyone has asked for a return SA offer at a different location rather than take the FT offer at the end of their SA stint? I'll be at a regional BB/EB, but am hoping to transition to NY for FT. I understand FT recruiting is a bloodbath, so am wondering if extending my graduation by a year to be able to receive another SA offer, but in the NY office, is possible.

Why not get the FT offer and then ask if you can have them alter the offer to be for a different office? Seems unnecessary to intern again and delay graduation by a year.
That would be the first thing I'll try to do, but I've read on previous threads that that's a difficult move to pull-off, so I'm wondering if this would be a viable back-up option or if my current bank would look at it negatively, too.
