Attach a resume to my cold email to help better "sell" myself?

Currently looking for an off cycle winternship or a spring internship and was wondering if attaching a resume would better help "sell" myself. I have solid RE internship (4bln+ company) and a boutique IB internship (had solid dealflow). Would it be good to attach my resume at the end of my email and say "I have attached my resume for reference"? I feel more alumni/people would respond but I'm not entirely sure

I always attach mine, because if you don't the first email is often just asking for your resume, if you get a response at all. Some people are very against it, but I personally got way more responses with one. If your GPA is good I would attach it

I was initially thinking it would be very forward but I feel that people would be more inclined to speak because I do have past finance internships and a decent GPA. Would it be fine to phrase it as "I have attached my resume for reference" when I attach my resume?
