B4 Audit>Group&Regional FP&A Manager CF> [break in B4 Corporate Finance] how?

27y/o. > 5 years exp mix of internal& external audit. Recently in FP&A CF in a startup company. How to break in B4 CF? Not into TS; Is TS/FDD a must? Before leaving B4 audit, HR in general offered me a lateral to TS, but I was not interested as I was looking into M&A/CF to obtain deal view from start to finish rather than a cog in the wheel doing FDD & endless model simulations for no other purpose than to provide a fairness opinion/PPP.

Have obtained networks in my B4 firm, Head of Audit Partner & Senior Manager to submit my profile across to the Head of M&A/CF Advisory already. No news. Any kind advice for further network suggestions #tryharderatwhere?, any other doors/opportunities?

Note: From Asia & based in Asia if it matters.
