Back Office To Front Office Transfers?
Hey Monkeys,
I've been exploring Back Office to Front Offices changes, and was fortunately able to find a role within the Front Office.
Has anyone done this before and if they have, does the base compensation change? I would imagine it should as Front Office roles have more responsibilities, but I've also heard rumors that internal transfers don't get a base increase for some reason.
Can you give some more details? Which bank? Which role from, which role to?
I can confrim for one of the big banks (JP/GS/MS) your salary doesn't get bumped until the annual comp review, so if you move mid year you will be on a shitty BO salary for half a year
