Background Check Advice for IB SA
So long story short, I messed up the dates for several of my internship experiences on my resume (I switched the dates on accident). Can someone with experience please pm or comment advice.
When do they usually do the background checks? Also, you're completely fine honest mistake and nobody gives a shit. They're looking to see if you killed someone.
I'm not sure, haven't gone through it yet. If they give me a chance to send in an updated resume I'll definitely do so. Would you mind pming me?
What do you mean switched the dates? Did you put one as 2020 and one as 2021? no worries. +/- a month on start date? fine
if you put you worked there for a year and you were only there for 3 months... that is a problem. Background checks are pretty surface level but I disagree with the above about only caring if you killed someone... they absolutely do confirm your prior employment and if it's a huge discrepancy that is not good
