Bad if interviewer only asked 4 questions?
I just finished an interview, and they asked 4-5 questions. The questions were easy and only took about 10 minutes to answer. It was a 30-minute interview, and I had more than 15 minutes to ask them questions. Good or bad sign? Am I overthinking this?
was it a first round interview ?
Yes
What level was the person?
More than likely they were just busy and didn't have a list of questions prepped, especially if it was an analyst or associate. Don't think it's a clear sign it went either poorly or really well, just depends how well you answered those few questions
It's a small firm and the person is the Director of HR. My main concern is you'd think they should have more questions given their position. However, nothing felt awkward and it was pretty smooth for the most part. Either way it's out of my hands I suppose.
