Bad semester impact on recruiting

I’m currently a junior in undergrad at a target school. I’ve maintained roughly a 3.6 so far, but this semester I decided to take an extremely challenging elective course (yes I know it wasn’t the best idea) and earned an F. Since I decided to finish my hardest remaining major requirements all this semester, I did only average in my other classes which will tank my GPA to somewhere in the 3.1-3.3 range. I can still recover in my senior year, but was wondering how this will impact full time recruiting this upcoming fall. Any advice on how to navigate this?
