Bank of America Global Risk Management Internship

This is my first time posting in wall street oasis. I'm curious to know if anyone is familiar with BofA's global risk management internship program and if so, what will I be doing and is the pay pretty good. Also it would be awesome if anyone had a contact in the company in this division. I'd like to speak with them. Thank you!

Champs46I know someone who did a Risk Management internship at another BB, pay was 70k prorated

I agree with this. Knew someone who did this internship last year and now is working in a trading role.

hey aerospace, I got an email from a recruiter for their internship asking my graduation date which I replied back (which fills their requirements) but I haven't heard back from them, what should I do? I already reached out back to them as well

Market or credit risk? Usually it takes them a while to reply back to students (even after I accepted their offer, they were not really too responsive). Also which recruiter contacted you?

I heard BAML market risk has an online assessment now - perhaps they will be contacting everyone when they have the assessment figured out?

this was for boa operations management analyst internship for summer- kind of unrelated in positions but same company so I thought I could get help here. If they bothered to even see when I would be graduating, do you think i'll still get an interview? or are those interview dates passed already?

you get comped travel when you have to go somewhere to interview... but they would most likely phone screen first and then invite you out to interview (assuming you've already had first rounds and this is a final round interview HR will send you an email with travel arrangement details)... typically you will call the firm's American Express travel agent and they will book you a flight, book you a hotel, and you will just expense any miscellaneous items such as cab fare, meals, etc... don't worry, they'll take care of you if you need to travel

Not terribly certain for BOA, but at most BB's Risk Management is most likely considered back office.. As a FT risk management analyst, you can expect about 60k + signing bonus..

Alright, awesome. Thanks guys.

Have any of you applied for an internship with Bank of America yet this year? Because I'm having a hell of a time with its online system!

I completed my profile, but when I press submit, but no submissions show up on my 'jobscreen.' It's so frustrating because it just appears to be a flaw with their system, but there's no number to call or person to email, from what I can tell.
