BB and E Boutique timelines

Hey guys,

Basically been submitting online apps and emailing my credentials (ie CV, cover letter, etc) to many banks out there. I come from a non-target school and I have a decent GPA with great experience.

My question to you is, at this point (Sept 9, '12) are bulge brackets and e boutiques going to be devoid of additional spots for candidates in situations like myself (ie w/o connections, w/o on-campus interviews, and this far along the timeline)?

I like to think that there is still the opportunity to land an interview with someone like JPM or LZ, but from what I hear, the majority of the big banks and successful boutiques aren't really hiring past their summer analyst pools this year, and even if they are there's the pre-selected interviews, then the target school interviews, and then the non-target.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Anacott_CEOWith no connections and non-target background, I honestly don't think you focus on BB and elite boutiques.

perhaps not focus, but definitely give it all you got and try man

its really afr from impossible you all have huge chances if you get an interview

and in order to get it, get your cv, cl, grades, story etc. perfect and practice some rhetorics
