BB Summer Associate Recruitment from Harvard Law School?

I have 2 years of VC experience from a small boutique firm in Asia and the CFA II. I have applied to both top MBA and JD programs. Unfortunately I didn't get into any of the MBA programs that I want but had been accepted at both Columbia and Harvard for the JD. I am leaning towards HLS but also want to go into IBD rather than big law.

I know that being a JD wanting to get into IB is probably a bit more complicated than as a MBA candidate, but it seems that both GS and MS accept applications from JD candidates for summer associate positions on their website. I'm just curious whether with aggressive networking and a candidacy from a top law school, as well as some finance experience and modeling skills, do I stand a chance for a summer associate interview at the BBs? If so, how should I go about this? Reach out to alumni? Network at the B-School? Visit the career services at the B School?

Thanks so much!
