Hi guys, I have an interview with a BB Syndicated Loan team coming up for a SA position.
Would truly appreciate it if any of oyu could shed some light on what kind of questions to expect, what they do, etc..
Thanks a ton!

I've done some search and couldn't find too much info. Anyone? Thx.

You'll most likely be dealing with loan comps and trading statistics of whatever kind of loans you're syndicating. Syndications is more of a sales oriented job, lots of breadth, minimal depth. I'd probably just try to develop a story of why you like the markets, and what draws you to the debt side of things. Whether it's investment grade or non-investment grade loans, have a reason why you're interested in either, e.g. the large corporate type of investment grade entities (which are pretty plain vanilla), or the higher yielding non-investment grade entities (more interesting in my opinion).
Thx a lot! They do investment grade bonds. I know my story well, but am wondering what kind of tech questions I will be asked, assuming they dont really care much about DCF,valuation kind of things? Thx.
Why do you say non-investment grade is more interesting? Can you elaborate a little more? Thank you!
