Beginner Interview Prep Tips

Current sophomore looking to apply to SA 2021 positions but pretty late into the IB game. I just got access to the 400 qns guide and it's a lot bigger than I was expecting. Any tips for tackling this beast, or interview prep in general?

I've also read that it's important to be up-to-date on news for these interviews. What exactly should I be able to discuss (recent M&A? general business news?), and what is the best source for this type of news? I've subscribed to MorningBrew and Sorkin's Dealbook so far.

Thank you so much for everything. I look forward to giving back to WSO in the coming years
