Being asked salary expectation and potential start date?

Had an interview with a small PE fund (5 folks). First round was a 20 minute video call with all five folks (including partners), after which I did the case study (up to 10 hours). Supposedly I did well enough there to be invited for a 30 minute case debrief video call with one director and one senior associate. The call went for 36 minutes. Towards the end, I was asked by the Director about my salary expectation and whether I am flexible wrt to start date...Are the last two questions a sign of an interview that's gone well or is it too tough to read into this?
