Best way to break into Healthcare IB from Generalist/Lev Fin/ RE experience

I have 2 years as a generalist, 1 year Lev fin, and 1 year MBS Hedgefund and have always been interested in joint healthcare coverage but have not had a ton of experience with those kinds of deals. Over the next school year, I can get an associates in science for free through one of the local tech schools. My thought is the associates science degree will make me stand out enough to be relevant and considered for positions where lots of people are looking for jobs.

Do you think this makes sense? What would you suggest?
