Best Ways to Prep for IB SA

Big congrats to the incoming summer 2023s - we made it. After taking a few months to chill following what was arguably the most hectic time of my life, it’ll soon be grind time again. A lot of ppl say I’m being too hardo but there’s no way on God’s green earth I’m fumbling this internship, so call me what you want lol.

Aside from the usual “you’ll learn on the job” jargon, what can/should I do to prep? For context if it’s helpful, going to an EB (evr moe cvp q).

Honestly, I think it is:

1) know your technicals

2) practice excel, be proficient

3) smile and be energetic

4) rub one out and relax before going through the gauntlet

Be calm, have the perspective that you already have the job.

I don't want a kid who is a dummy, but I also don't want a kid who is a freak.

Be calm, be composed, smile at the appropriate time. You want to be able to convince the more junior folks that you'd be an okay person to take out for a beer or be stuck at 3am in the office with.

Just don't be a weirdo...
