Biglaw or fianancial services firm for someone looking to exit from law to IB

Pretty much what the title says. I'm currently looking at my first job post law school and I try to set myself up for an exit to IB within 1-2 years. As a biglaw associate I would work with VC and M&Am as a financial service associate I would work on mostly GRC issues, but be more in the financial sphere. So, if anyone had faced this situation before me- I'd really appreciate the advice.

Thanks!
