Not a group specific question, but in general I don’t see many ppl from BofA place in PE. Does anyone know how BofA analysts fare in on cycle recruiting? Is it possible to get looks at UMM? (serious question)

Massive dropoff. If you're in M&A or FSG, you will get looks from any fund you want. Comes down to if you want to do on cycle and how you perform. But you can get your foot in the door anywhere you want from those 2. Same with REGL for REPE. If you're in a coverage group, will be hard to even get UMM looks.
M&A does well: several to Carlyle, TPG every year. Recent exits to Thoma Bravo, Carlyle, HIG, Permira. The group holds it own against lower groups at GS (NR, HC etc.)
