Boutique IB in London vs. Corp M&A at large insurance firm

Hiya,

I need some career advice.

I've looked at similar past posts in this forum but still wanted to obtain some fresh feedback.

I have two job opportunities on my hand right now.

One is a healthcare focused boutique IB in London which is quite small (<15 members).

The firm does roughly 5 deals per annum with mostly equity financing deals than M&A deals (size £10-100mm range).

The other job is corp dev/M&A for a $15 billion market-cap insurance firm in Asia

The team at the insurance co. said a lot of opportunities involving cross-border M&A will come up.

Compensation wise, IB is higher; But hourly wage might be similar i guess.

I previously only have corp dev experience and thought IB exp might make me more competent in the future.

I wanted to ask what you guys might choose over which.

Thanks in advance mates.

Cheers
