Break into IBD from rating agency
Is it possible to get into a middle market investment bank coming from a rating agency? What are the best steps I can take? All the jobs headhunters sent over are credit and I am so desperately to get out of credit and I hate risk…..leverage finance is something I am very much interested, but all IB jobs I applied for never heard back. What are some other steps I can take to get the interview? I’ve been networking, and I did reach out to people who are moved to IB from rating agency, but they are fairly inexperienced in the firm, so was not able to recommend my resume.
