Breaking into corporate IB/Cap. Mkts.
Currently in public finance at a MM IB, interested in moving to more traditional corporate IB. Had initial phone screen at well-known elite-ish MM boutique but didn’t make it past that point due to lack of relevant experience. I realize that’s a pretty large obstacle to overcome but open to any thoughts on how to differentiate, especially with how active lateral market seems to be right now.
