Breaking into IB

Hey everyone. I’m a rising sophomore at U Michigan (LSA non-Ross). Looking to land an IB internship this year for my junior year, and was wondering if anyone could give me some general advice and which specific firms to target. My GPA is very solid, resume is alright (not much direct finance experience). Thanks for any help it is much appreciated

1.) BIWS Guides + 400Q Guide will prepare you both technically and behaviorally

2.) Network with school alumni at any and every bank you can

3.) Apply everywhere because you never know

If you do those three things, you will land at a bank. Networking is 60-70% of the game. The other half is being interview-ready.
