Business Continuity?
I have recently accepted a Business Continuity Management position at a BB and I was wondering if anyone on these forums is in a similar role or knows anyone in a similar role. I would like to talk with someone to get an idea of what to expect as far as hours/bonus/networking opportunities/typical day etc. If anyone can help me, please send me a private message or respond here - thanks.

I am a college student graduating in May '08 that has accepted a job as a Business Continuity Analyst at UBS in Stamford, CT. I have been looking around online, but have had a hard time finding information about the kinds of hours I can expect to work and what kind of bonus someone working in BC typically gets. If anyone could provide any information, I would appreciate it a lot.

this sounds like an IT job?
It's not an IT job, it's a relatively new branch of the investment bank on the operations side. We do things like disaster planning and management - fire, power outages, that sort of thing. I took this kind of job because I am an engineering major that realized kind of late in my education I wanted to get into the finance industry. Figured this would be a good foot in the door. My plan is to do this for a couple of years, then get my MBA and move on.
