Can Investment Banking Analysts take out an insurance policy on their hands?
Agents have Major League Baseball pitchers take out insurance policies on their arms before they become FA to hedge earnings against career ending injuries. As an analyst, we would be entirely useless if one or both of our hands became compromised. Has anyone considered taking out an insurance policy against hand injuries?
There are laws protecting you from this.
Arguably, you would also need your hearing for meetings, your eyes for all computer work, your mental health for the stress and hours, etc..
