So just curious, I know ECM and DCM get alot of grief on these boards. What is their comp like? I heard that base salary for ECM is the same as any other banking division and their bonus can be pretty high as well. Is this true?

As an analyst and as an associate salaries are basically the same, but ultratrader is right. Transferable skills / exit opps are pretty much non-existent in cap mkts.
