Career Advice moving to london.

Hi monkeys,

Graduating this year from a non target but top 30 school in the world (california), and wanting to move to the UK and pursue finance (irish citizenship).

I got into finance late, and due to being non target school I missed a lot of the internships at BB's. As far as resume, I have some financial experience, built models for some startups that got funded, completed a couple modeling courses, and have a general good financial background. Unfortunately no IB specific internships. Academically I achieved a 3.85 GPA with two minors.

What is the best path forward? I would love to place in a boutique bank or smaller PE firm. I know BB is rather unrealistic, but I also prefer the idea of boutique.

Does anyone have some advice / personal experience? Much appreicated!
