Career Path KYC/AML/CDD/Compliance Officer

I am a fresh graduate which I have completed my banking and finance studies. As i scroll through the jobs offered by various companies, I found out there are positions such as AML/KYC/compliance officer/CDD analyst.

Can someone help and explain what are the differences between theses jobs and how well is their career path? Are these positions a dead-end job?
