CB To IB best Path
Did SA in IB at a BB, ended up switching to doing CB also at a BB (CIB) thought it was a good move with better hours but it has been super boring and repetitive. Really want to switch from my CB coverage group into an IB coverage group, I went through IB training and with my past experience what is the best path to making this switch.
For background I went to a target school, and have 2 internships in PE and the one SA in IB

Terrible mistake making the switch. But usually all banks have an internal transfer timeline, I'd check with HR on how long you need to wait before you can make the switch internally. Obviously would need to absolutely kill it in your CB group for the team to like you and support your move which the story makes sense. Source: my friends that made the same switch from CB to IB.
