Chances of getting an interview / offer if an MD sends resume?
Title speaks for itself. What do you think the chances are for an interview / potential offer if an MD directly forwards your resume to HR with a recommendation?
I’d say interview 80% offer ~40%? I get it it depends on the situation too and resume, etc.

Just be transparent in that you’re looking for opportunities at their bank.

Don’t shy away from it.
If the MD is the hiring manager and you are lateralling, your chance for interview is close to 100%.
