Chances that I get jobs in London from Asia

Hi monkeys,

I am currently a third year analyst as sales within global markets at one of banks like GS, JPM, MS in Tokyo (I had exposure to Credits, CDS, Treasuries and recently to more of institutional investor relationship management type role).

For some reasons I would like to move to London in a few years. Of course I am trying to do the internal transfer but I just want to risk hedge and preparing myself to taking actions just in case which is going to Masters in Finance for LSE or LBS.

Let’s say if I managed to land those schools (probably thanks to my resume), what would be the odds that I get prestige finance job in London without having visa?

(I know a lot of people don’t like the term “prestige” but you know what I am saying is similar front office job at good investment bank or relationship sales role at good buy side firms.)

FYI, since I got couple friends work in city etc I probably get good connections to step the foot into interview room.

I generally like Tokyo but the city is too convenient and comfortable when you are young, I want to put myself into something more exciting. Additionally, I see most banks put Asia Head from seniors worked in London so I need more exposure to that side of if I wanna go up the corporate ladder.
Aside from the work, I have many friends in LDN and love the people also dating scene is much better haha
