CMC vs UCLA vs USC Marshall vs Middlebury

Hi guys, so after the long application and eating processes for the US, these colleges are my results, and UCLA’s name recognition, location and atmosphere really attracts me.

However, I’ve heard that the prospects of getting into Ib/consulting are slim, if you are not part of the undergraduate business club workshops or sharpe fellows. My question is how hard is it to get into those?

Im an international, quite interested in staying in the West Coast in terms of jobs, and I didn’t get any scholarships from the aforementioned schools. What uni would you suggest in general (I am interested either in taking Econ as my major or business admin in USC case and going consulting/ib, more leaning into consulting. Or an alternative pathway I’m considering is a humanities major + law school afterwards) taking these into consideration?

Thank you very much for your responses in advance!
