Cold-emailing for networking
Just want to know what everyone's tips are for cold-emailing like what questions to ask and how to eventually get an interview out of it. Also, is it too early to start looking around for summer 2015 internships?
My success rate with cold emailing/calling was very low, just imagine how many other kids are doing the same. I landed my internships and gigs by doing walk-ins and handing my resume to the GP. Of course, this is only for boutique and smaller firms, it would be nearly impossible to by-pass security if it was a huge firm.
