Quick back story: I've had a deep interest in finance for a while now, and have been modelling stocks for 2 years for fun, I've got 50% avg return. I'd love to get real work experience this summer in my hometown. Without seeming idiosyncratic to other applicants, should I cold call/email an employee from a firm in my home town, or simply email the company's address?
