any tips on how to cold networking on linked-in? should i rather contact alumni via email? what should i write? sorry for these questions but i don’t have any experience in this... i appreciate any tips.
email is better if you have it, you can't follow up with Linkedin inmails if they don't respond.
intro yourself as a fellow alum, be humble and direct, and ask for advice about their employer or career path. Don't ask for a job or referral, give them the space to offer it.
