College freshman stuck at home
Currently a freshman in a weird position; my college pushed back our academic year to spring-summer, so I won't be able to intern next summer. With COVID restrictions easing up in my area and free time on my hands (I don't start until January), I would like to get some professional experience so that my resume won't be empty come sophomore year. I haven't found any job listings online so would it be worth it to go around cold-emailing/calling for unpaid internships? Is not having a freshman internship a big deal in terms of getting internships later on?
Do most freshman get internships over the summer?
At least at my school/area i think most kids usually do
