College transfer

So, I recently transferred to a different college for my junior year. My performance at my previous institution was less than stellar. Let's say I had a GPA around 2.3. So, now that I've transferred I've gotten myself together and my GPA for my first term at my new school was a 3.75. I have spoken to the dean and apparently only my GPA from my new school will be reported on my transcript. I told my career counselor this and they said to just put my new GPA on my resume. Is this a good idea? are any banks I'm applying for an internship at going to ask me for all of my college transcripts?

I realize that a lot of banks will ask what schools I have attended but will they ask for transcripts for all those schools?
