Commercial Banking or Investment Sales: Better Future Opps?

Jumping into finance with 2 years of experience in SaaS sales from top Canadian B-School undergrad (Ivey, Smith, etc.) - current TC 90k

Am lucky enough to have received two offers - one for commercial banking analyst (70k TC soft 2 year commitment) at top Canadian Bank and another for investment sales (internal wholesaler for REIT-like product) at a solid RE firm based in Toronto (90k TC). Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on LT career opps.

From my research I understand that commercial banking can lead to corporate banking or maybe IB/PE after an MBA (still a stretch) but the role in wholesale could lead to greater opportunities in the Sales side of finance (institutional sales/external wholesaler). Also thinking that the exposure to RE and markets being at a smaller shop could allow me to learn more earlier in my career jumping into finance but the big bank experience in lending could also open up interesting paths.

My long-term goals aren't fully clear but I am interested in being client facing/getting exposure to markets (corporate banking or institutional sales)

Any and all advice would really help me out here

You learn more hard skills in commercial banking than you would in sales.

CCB to CB or IB is definitely doable, I don't know why you'd need to do an MBA. I've seen people make the switch w/o one, it's not a stretch. If I were you, I would pick CCB.
