Rising undergrad sophomore at a target b school. My goal is to end up at BB/EB banks doing ib. I currently have a final interview with Accenture doing AI Consulting for my sophomore summer. I am wondering if this would be a good experience for finance. I’ve always been interested in tech and did an IBM program this summer. Would this be transferable enough or should I just go for something in finance.

I can't tell you this decisively, but do you have an offer in Banking? If yes then obviously take it
no, i dont have any banking offers right now. if i did i would take it yes but it’s rather difficult to get a banking offer for sophomore summer. i am just wondering if this would help me for banking for my junior year summer
Yeah you're right sophomore banking internships are almost nonexistent. Take this offer, there's a myriad of ways in which it could help you get a banking offer next summer, the fact that you got this offer alone reflects good on your character. Good luck :)
