Corona Virus Hiring Opportunties
I am a 3rd year middle market investment banking analyst that was recently laid off due to corona virus and now weighing my options. Where in finance do you think will be best positioned after Corona Virus (i.e. investment banking, private equity, wealth management, corporate finance, etc.).
I was thinking that distressed credit funds may be aggressively hiring.. Which function of finance are hiring in this environment?
Has distressed debt trading volume increased significantly due to corona virus?
I would think so especially if it was middle market related and equity owners were late to the party on stimulus...
If you want to downgrade and go into ECM you can get into capital markets during a good time... Wouldn't recommend but ECM should be doing well across the street
