(Corporate Banking) Credit Analysts: Am I f*cked if I don't know a single thing about Accounting if I enter a Credit Analyst position?

Am interviewing for a Credit Analyst-type-position at a large Commercial Bank (not BB certainly a National Bank):
Recruiter said I'd be set-up to fail if I didn't know accounting principles
So, am I screwed going into the role

No, I wouldn’t think so if you could pass the interview. A majority you will learn as you go so stay inquisitive and try to dig a level or two deeper. Don’t be afraid to ask questions to other analysts / associates. Leverage your research team and online resources. You’ll be fine, good luck!
I'm the only "rookie" analyst, the rest of the people are "seniors" (disclaimer: I haven't gotten the role yet).
I'm worried that that might have an impact and that they're looking for me to "know everything" from Day1.
